Welcome to the website for Professor Lago's writing class, a place where students will find inspiration and resources for their writing. Here's the thing: the only way to improve one's writing is to write. A lot. More than a person think he or she can, or should, or wants to. Read some good writing, too, preferably writing that is challenging, gets a laugh, and is interesting. Visit the What We Write page where the class will be blogging about writing, reading, and our ideas.

She has some short fiction and creative nonfiction published in online and print journals, including Pank, VerbSap, and Per Contra. Rowling, A.A. Milne, and too many others to name.
A confession: she has never been able to finish Moby Dick.
